Our Story

The Yale Literary Magazine, founded in 1836, is the oldest student literary magazine in the United States. We are a print and online literary journal publishing outstanding poetry, fiction, and visual art by Yale University undergraduates. We publish twice per academic year.

Notable alumni featured in the magazine while students include Sinclair Lewis, Susan Choi, Meghan O’Rourke, ZZ Packer, Max Ritvo, Sarah Sze, Thornton Wilder, and many others. Wikipedia.
